Article XVII - Amendment

Amendment to the Constitution and by Laws of this Association shall be made at the State Conference, by twothirds (2/3) vote of the regular members present. No proposition to amend shall be acted upon unless a written notice has been sent to the President and Secretary at least sixty (60) days prior to the meeting. A copy of such proposition shall be embodied in the call for the general meeting and a copy sent to every member, at least twenty (20) days before the date of State Conference at which the amendment is to be voted upon. The voted amendment shall become effective immediately upon approval.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION: Any NJAD member wishing to submit a proposed changes to NJAD By-Laws, must submit the proposed amendment in writing and mail postmark by May 28, 2007 to Ms. Andrea Zamloot, NJAD/Amendment, 204 Little St, Belleville NJ 07109.
