Subject: 2007 NJAD Awards
The 20th Biennial State Conference is near and the Award Committee is seeking nomination for the 2007 NJAD Awards. By recognizing valuable contributions made by individuals or organizations, NJAD encourages more citizens to become involved in community services/programs for the deaf. NJAD has given out various awards and certificates. To list some of the awards below,
ALBERT G. BARNABEI MEMORIAL SERVICE AWARD
The ALBERT G. BARNABEI MEMORIAL SERVICE AWARD is a program or service recognition sponsored by NJAD. It seeks to identify and recognize an individual who provides and continues outstanding voluntary service toward NJAD and the deaf community. This award is
given only to NJAD members.
OTHER VARIOUS AWARDS
Each award/certificate seeks to identify and to bring both local and statewide attention on outstanding and innovative service efforts. The awards are given to men, women and organizations, actively and currently involved in a service to enhance the lives of deaf people in their communities. These awards and certificates are given to members and non-members. Click here to view categories of awards.
NOMINATIONS
NJAD members may nominate individual(s) and/or organization(s). If you are not a member, you may become a member by registering through our website at www.NJADeaf.org. Please review the form and all categories of awards. It is important to complete the form including
three names of NJAD members making the nomination. Incomplete form will not be processed. The committee will review all nomination forms and use voting process to select the final nominee for each awards. You may photocopy the nomination form. All nominations must be mailed to by no later than May 28, 2007.
