Dear NJAD,
Again, thank you so much for the scholarship that you gave me for Youth Leadership Camp. It meant a lot to me. That was really kind of you nd your organization to do that for me.
I really had a great time at the camp. It was definitely one of the best experiences I ever had. It made an impact in my life. It taught me a lot of things especially about the National Association of the Deaf that I didn’t realize how important it really was. It helped me to work together with everyone else and finish with what you start. I enjoyed meeting old and new friends and believe it or not, I won an award, Miss Congeniality voted by campers. It was an h onor. There were many wonderful people that gave out their presentations about everything: audism, deafhood, their lives, and many more.
One month in Oregon was worth it. It helped me with the future of doing things and with people. Youth Leadership Camp is definitely the key of N.A.D for teenangers to learn about and spread more into national wide.
Sincerely,
(signed)

Dear the New Jersey Association of the Deaf,
I would like to thank you for the $250 scholarship which was used toward my stay at NAD's Youth Leadership Camp in Stayton, Oregon this past month. The experience at YLC was an unforgettable one and I have learned a lot from this camp. Without your support, I may not have been able to improve my leadership skills as much as I did. I plan on helping the deaf community as much as I can in the near future especially with advocacy issues within the state of New Jersey. Once again, thank you so much!
Yours truly,
Ian Lazarus
